We welcome the opportunity to create a professional custom site design for you. However, if you already have a designer you like, keep them! iWays uses a standard HTML web page as a wrapper for the dynamic content. Click Logic can take your existing design and convert it to a wrapper for you.
When
creating a graphic design for the site, there are a few things to consider:
Each
branch can have it's own design. It is
good practice to maintain a consistent look and feel across the entire
site. However, you can use different
color schemes, images, or whatever you wish for each part of your site.
iWays has a variety of "panels" to add dynamic content to
pages. For example, on the front page,
you might want to have a mini-calendar or perhaps a recent news summary. Those panels link to the actual Calendar
Component or Headlines Component pages on the site. It is very common to use a panel on the home
page to help people know what is available at the site and provide quick links
to the interior pages.
The
design should allow for the page to grow vertically. Since iWays web sites are changed
often, the amount of content will be on each page is unknown at design
time. Therefore, the design needs to either
have scroll bars in it, or allow the browser to expand vertically to accomodate
different length pages. The width can be
fixed, but should allow for at least 500 pixels on home pages and 800 on
interior pages for the page content.
