Adding
pages to your site and adding content to those pages are really two different
operations. In fact, they are often done by two different people.
Often the task of adding pages and setting
the permissions is done by a core group of people that have a little more
experience using iWays.
However, the task of adding content to the pages is best done by the
people with the most knowledge and passion for the topic of the page. This is a key difference between the old style
of web site management where a web master did everything and modern web sites
that employ powerful tools, like iWays, to simplify the process and
make it available to anyone. iWays is even easier than most content management systems because a person
never has to go into the "backend" of the site to change the
content.
Adding Pages
Log
in to an account with administrative permission.
Go to the admin section ( a.k.a backend ) by
clicking the link on your home page.
Go
into the Site Builder by clicking the top link on the main admin page.
Within
the Site Builder, you can add/delete/edit, reorder, hide, modify the
permissions of pages and branches.
Modifying Content
Log
into an account with write permission for the page you want to edit
Go
to the page you want to edit using the standard menus
At
the bottom of the page, there will be a link that allows you to change the
content.
